I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but just in case anyone is not clear on this point, Roman Catholicism is a false religion. They teach a gospel by works contrary to clear Bible teaching (Romans 6:23, Eph 2:8-9). Ian Paisley rightly called the pope an antichrist.
I believe God reserves his harshest punishment for false teachers and false teacher is what the pope is (2 Peter 2). Galatians 1:8 teaches that God's curse falls on those who teach a false gospel. Roman Catholic doctrine has its own curse. Here is a quote from the Council of Trent reaffirmed by Vatican II ..."If anyone shall say that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in the divine mercy pardoning sins for Christ's sake, or that it is that confidence alone by which we are justified, let him be accursed."
If you are reading this and you are a Catholic please understand that it is impossible to save yourself. Your church can not save you. Your priest can not save you. Only Jesus can save you. Jesus died on the cross not to help save you but to save you completely! It is a free gift. God loves you! Think of that this time of year when we celebrate the gift God gave us...His own precious son given to us. How great the Fathers love is for us (1 John 3:1). The blood of Jesus cleanses us completely leaving nothing left for us to do. No works, no purgatory, no penance, no hell but a total forgiveness of all sins immediately and forever. If you don't know for sure if God will let you into heaven when you die please please PLEASE get this settled today. Find a Bible and look up these verses. John 3:16, Roman 3:23, Roman's 6:23, Romans 5:8 and Romans 10:9-10. You can have a personal relationship with Jesus and have wonderful hope and purpose for this life and the next

On February 2018 Dr. Steve Pettit president of Bob Jones University praised Dr. Billy Graham's ministry and his legacy. During a chapel message on November 7th of 2019, Dr. Bob praised the ministry of Dr. Billy Kim . Dr. Kim has always been a lover of the Graham ministry. Then on March 5, 2020, BJU hosted the Piedmont Women's Center (PWC) for their fundraising event. The speaker for the evening was Abby Johnson. During the event, Johnson "preached the gospel". On stage, displayed on a banner, were the words of Isaiah 43:19. Johnson said, "We must give the gospel to these ladies, not the watered-down Jesus but the powerful Jesus...everyone here is a sinner and in the need of a savior"

BJU then and now...North Greenville University

Dr. Sam Horn, (former) executive vice president of Bob Jones University (BJU) was a guest speaker at Detroit Theological Seminary's 2018 E3 Pastors Conference. Two Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) pastors Dr. Richard Caldwell and Dr. Rick Holland shared the platform with Horn and Dr. Dave Doran. As previously noted , BJU president Dr. Steve Pettit retains two high-level SBC professors Dr. Lonnie Polson and Mr. Jeffrey Stegall on the faculty at BJU. Fant Pettit North Greenville University (NGU) is a highly compromised new evangelical liberal arts school affiliated with the SBC. BJU has never extended a hand of fellowship to NGU...until now. On Monday, February 5th 2018 Dr. Gene Fant, president of NGU was the guest of honor on campus at BJU. At the beginning of the chapel message Pettit said, "we are honored this morning to have as our guest Dr. Gene Fant...we are going to fellowship [with Fant] for lunch today...stand and give him a warm welcome here at Bob Jo

  Pettit The "Presidents newsletter"  BJU today article December 2021 says, "BJU has been awarded the prestigious Elon Musk Xprize to reduce carbon emissions in order to mitigate global warming."
