   White Oak Baptist Church is located directly across the street from front campus. White Oak is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). For this reason, students were never allowed to darken its door...until now. Dr. Lonnie Polson , the division chair of the communications department at BJU, recently became the senior pastor of White Oak. Jeffrey Stegall who is an associate professor in the theater arts department is now the Music director at White Oak. White Oak continues its affiliation with the SBC. As you would expect, White Oak is recommended to students (along with several other SBC churches) for service and worship.     Sherwood Baptist Church is an SBC church in Albany Georga.    As noted previously Tim Geiger is the president of Harvest USA. He is also a contributor to The Gospel Coalition (TGC). Dr. Tim Keller is the co-founder and president of the TGC. His writings are also part of Mr. Geiger's resource collection at Harvest USA. Dr. Horn at the end of his interview with Geiger encouraged pastors to make use of these resources. Here is what Dr. Keller has to say about the sin of Homosexuality. Keller   Geiger and Keller (see my previous blog post on Geiger) say that homosexuality is a sin but they quickly qualify their statements by affirming that all sin is equal . There is no sin but the sins of the heart like pride or greed.    Mr. Geiger and Dr. Keller are both members of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA).
